Jacobus married Anna Maria Remmerswaal on 28 Dec 1917 in Berkel en Rodenrijs, Lansingerland, Holland. Anna (daughter of Johannes Remmerswaal and Cornelia van der Drift) was born on 31 Oct 1895 in Zoetermeer, Holland; died on 18 Aug 1963 in Rotterdam, Holland. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

1. Hermanus Jacobus Maria Maas was born on 5 Apr 1919 in Berkel en Rodenrijs, Holland; died on 30 Nov 1956 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada; was buried in Rosedale Cemetery.
2. Johannes Jacobus Maria Maas was born in 1921 in den Haag, Zuid-Holland; died on 5 May 1954 in Rotterdam, Holland.

Notes:

Parents: Theodorus Hendricus Maas and Trijntje Coomans b. 1835-, married May 20, 1863 in Leiden. Theodorus was kleermaker by profession, and when Hermanus was born in Leiden, they were residing in Middelweg.

In addition to Jacobus, born 1891, Hermanus and Johanna had these children:

Son: Theodorus Johannes Maria Maas, born in Oegstgeest, died Apr 16, 1894, 4 years old, residing in Leiderdorp.

Son: Hermanus Jozef Maria Maas, born in Leiderdorp Apr 13 1892. He died at age 40 in Oegstgeest, Leiden in 1932. He mas married to Maria Petronella Rijnart.

Daughter: Wilhelmina Adriana Maria Maas, born on June 14, 1893 in Leiderdorp, she was three months old when she died in Waardstraat, on Sep 16, 1893. Records show Hermanus was a timmerman by profession.

Daughter: Wilhelmina Catharina Maria Maas, born on June 28, 1894 in Leiderdorp, she died in Waardstraat 21 in Leiderdorp on May 11, 1896, 22 months old.

Son: Theodorus Johannes Maria Maas, born on November 14, 1895 in Leiderdorp, he died the day after his sister, on May 12, 1896 in Waardstraat 21, six months old.

Hermanus married Johanna van Rijn on 9 May 1888 in Leiden, Zuid-Holland. Johanna was born on 12 Feb 1863 in Utrecht, Utrecht, Nederland; died on 22 Nov 1944 in Leiden, Zuid-Holland. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
