2. Nils Rasmus. Sælen was born in 1648-1655 in Sælen, Fyllingsdalen (son of Rasmus Ols. Sælen); died in 1736 in Søre Bjorøy, Fjell. Notes:
Nils er truleg son til Ramus Olson på Sælen i Fana. Han kan ha vore brukar på Søre Bjorøy frå 1690-åra. I ei sak på bygdetinget i 1731 opplyste han at han hadde "boet her i 40 Aar til Nytaar". Dei første åra var Nils leiglending, men i 1706 kjøpte han heile Søre Bjorøyna og dreiv garden udel fram til første del av 1720-åra. I 1723 fekk sonen Nils skøyte på halve garden, og sidan overtok svigersonen Henrik bruket som Nils hadde hatt.
