Her death certificate states her father as Crosslow, her mother as Simmons. 1860 census for Salt Creek, Jackson, Indiana, Tobitha is six years old and living with William Arthur and his wife Mary Jane (her older sister). Not yet found in 1870 and 1880, 90 is missing. There is a Tobitha Miller, age 17 in 1870 Coal Creek, Montgomery, Indiana, USA 1900 Census for Busseron Township, Emison Precinct, Knox, Indiana: Tabitha A. Miller (why Miller?) lives with her children and rents a separate house on the farm where her brother Joseph and wife Bashiba live with their children, plus their son Ulysses with his wife Joanna and their children live: Tabitha A Miller May 1856 Indiana, widow, eight children born, six living. Tobitha had tuberculosis for ten years before she died of myocarditis in 1933.
