  Last name was Simmons according to death certificate of daughter. Did she remarry? First name may have been Catherine (or was that James Croslows first wife), father said to be Dan Simmons of Kentucky. Cherokee bloodline? Also had a son James Simmons b. 1 Oct. 1811 in (?Ohio County) Kentucky. (Katherine Simmons, dau of Adam Simmons and Phoebe Snodgrass m. Oct 13 1814 in Harrison, KY, is not the correct one - she married Cornelius Veatch in 1837.)
