Notes - Christian County Republican 23 Feb. 1960 p5: Funeral services for Nancy Elizabeth Bass, 82 who died Tuesday, Feb. 16, were held Saturday, Feb 20 at 2 p.m. with burial in the Ponce de Leon Cemetery under the direction of Chaffin Fineral Home. On January 20 1895, she was united in marriage to William C. Bass, who preceded her in death on February 18, 1945. To this union were born 9 children, of whom four preceded her in death. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Roy Stewart and Mrs. Nannie Hilton, both of Spokane, Mrs. Mildred Bessette, Hillsdale, Mich. and Mrs Fannie Weston, New Boston, Mich,; one son, James S. Bass of Garber, one sister, Mrs Amy McDonald of California; 18 grandchildren and 32 grat grandchildren. A great, great grandchild passed away the same day as Mrs. Bass.
