Franklin County deed book 6, 1811-1814:
In June 1810 Arthur Robertson and Milly, his wife, in the county of Franklin sold 248 acres of land lying on the branches of arter/Otter Creek to John Shively for the sum of sixty one pounds and thirteen four pence. Arthur had bought the land in April 1808 from John Napper and his wife Elizabeth.
Arhur is also mentioned several times in the determined papers of the Chancery Court in Franklin County, specifically for loans/bonds. In 1790 for a loan of 296 pounds, damage ten pound to answer to John Grayham. And in April 1792 on a plea for trespassing and a case of damage 60 pounds against Benjamin Estis to be held at the next Court at the courthouse in New London.
In 1782 he paid personal property tax in Amherst County for one white person and two horses, no slaves. Recorded next to Thomas Robertson.
