    • Edna Dorothe Knutson Stephenson
      (September 26, 1920 - December 19, 2011)

Edna Dorothe Knutson Stephenson was born September 26, 1920 to Esther Elizabeth and Andrew O. Knutson in New Sweden Township, Minnesota.

She passed away on December 19, 2011. Edna had four brothers and two sisters.

Edna married Archie Bert Stephenson on October 14, 1946 in Elko, Nevada. They made their home in Ogden, Utah. Bert passed away on December 26, 1990.

She enjoyed being an Avon lady for more than 44 years and was very successful making friends with all she met and worked with. She enjoyed trips to Idaho to visit family, a trip to the Bahamas, trips home to Minnesota and trips to Wendover. Edna always enjoyed a good game of bingo. She was an avid Jazz fan, and enjoyed watching the basketball games. She also was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and had many happy memories of camping at the Eagles campground. Edna was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Edna was a loving mother and grandmother, as well as a great-grandmother.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Charles and Paula Stephenson of Fruit Heights; and Rick and Terrie Stephenson of Ogden; ten grandchildren she loved dearly; and her great-grandchildren she enjoyed.

She was a lovely and gracious woman, and her family feels it was a privilege to have had her play such an important role in their lives. She has been an example of kindness and caring to all who knew her.

      Interment, Lago Cemetery, Idaho.
