    Enke og gårdbruker på Lillekalsøen i folketellinga 1900 og 1910. I 1900 hadde 77 år gamle Rasmus Rasmusen Litlakalsøy føderåd hjå henne, og eige lite hus. Dei hadde korn/potet, kreatur og fjærkre.
    1910 var det 9 bruk på Lillekalsøen, br, 1, 2, og 8 drevet som ett. Elisabet hadde bruk 4 og budde der med Marie. Astrid og Mikal var i Samnanger.

    Seinare hadde Elisabetta kår på bruket på Litlakalsøy, eldstedottera Astrid hadde odel. Då Astrid og mannen Mikal Skulstad skulle nordover i 1921, måtte Elisabet vera med, ho hadde føderåd hos dei i folketellinga 1920. Ho døydde hos Astrid på Remman på øya Tro, Helgeland.

    Marie tjente hos Paasche på Offersøya for seg og yngstegutten Artur, etter at mannen Nils reiste til Svalbard i tre år, og seinere hjem til Tofta uten kone og barn. Kilde: Kaare Hansen

    Da han reiste ble mor sittende i største elendighet, og samfunnet måtte gripe inn fordi hun ikke kunne forsørge alle barna og ikke fikk bidrag fra mannen. Artur var så liten at han måtte være med mora Marie 'i plass', for nå måtte hun måtte tjene til livets opphold selv.
    Fire av barna ble satt bort. Herbert var først i Hemmervika i Bærøyvågen hos Anna og Ludvig Nilsen. Men var ikke så lenge, fordi de hadde ei anna i forpleining som var et tungt tilfelle. Da havnet han hos Karl Haugen på Tro. Hjalmar var hos Herman Iversen på Tro. Edith havnet også på Tro, på Halsen, en av de store gårdene. Nora havnet i Bærøyvågen hos Herman og Lydia Hansen.

    Det var stritt for Marie i nord, selv om hun hadde mor og søster i nærheten. Etter noen år var helsa skral og hun var lei av å tjene. Da skrev hun til Nils Olai at nå ville hun ty til ham igjen. Da hentet Nils Olai henne og Arthur til Tofta. Nils fikk seg etter hvert plass i tranbrenneriet på Døschen og fikk leie et lite hus der. I 1937 og 1939 fikk de to barn til, Ingeborg og Kåre, i det Marie kalte . De leide ei tid på Vikso (1937) og Tofta (1939), og leide også et rom i andre etasje i Tyrnevika ei tid.

    I 1947 kjøpte de Søre Laksen med kår til de forrige brukerne.

    Hjemmedøpt 10. februar av Nils Rasmussen Møgster, vitner var Anna Andersdtr. Lillekalsøen og Anna Olsdtr. Lillekalsøen.

    Etter konfirmasjonen på Tjøtta i 1934 måtte Nora reise ut i teneste. Fyrst kom ho til svigermor til onkelen Arent i Nordfjord, ho hadde halde senga i 13 år då Nora kom dit. Mora og søskena hadde flytta òg sør frå Helgeland. Då mora Mario vart sjuk måtte ho heimatt til Tofta. Ho var heime ei stund, før ho igjen reiste for å tene på Haugland i Os. Her bles snøen inn vindauge på loftet der ho låg. Nora tente i åtte år, lengst hos Bakke på Glesnes - i nesten fire år. Her møtte ho Nils, og dei vart gifte i 1943.
