George died on 23 February 1920 at Elkinsville, Johnson Twp., Brown Co., IN, at age 85. His body was interred say 25 February 1920 at Elkinsville Cemetery at Elkinsville, Johnson Twp., Brown Co., IN. No stone marker was found in 1970.

In 1840 there is a James Caslaw in Washington, Brown, Indiana. He is not on the 1848 or 1858 tax records of Brown county.

By 1860 the younger children Joseph and Tobitha are living with their older married sisters Nancy and Mary Jane in Johnson, Brown, Indiana. Have not found Elizabeth in this census.

Last name was Simmons according to death certificate of daughter. Did she remarry?

First name may have been Catherine (or was that James Croslows first wife), father said to be Dan Simmons of Kentucky. Cherokee bloodline? Also had a son James Simmons b. 1 Oct. 1811 in (?Ohio County) Kentucky.
(Katherine Simmons, dau of Adam Simmons and Phoebe Snodgrass m. Oct 13 1814 in Harrison, KY, is not the correct one - she married Cornelius Veatch in 1837.)
