2979 Emigrated to Londonderry, New Hampshire, which is now Windham, as early as 1723, and is the ancestor of most of the Dinsmoors of NH. He was taken prisoner by the Indians, and, after various adventures, finally made his appearance in the Scotch settlement of Londonderry, NH, with many of the people there he was acquainted, having known them in Ireland. He made his home in what is now Windham. Being a mason, he built a stone house, in which he lived, and where he died in 1741. In 1891 the place was occupied by Phineas D. Scott.

After building a home, he sent for his son Robert and his daughter Elizabeth to come with their step-mother, and their families to live with him.

2999 Emigrerte i 1856. Ingeborg og Thomas hadde ikkje born. Dei er i Nunda, Freeborn, Minnesota, i alle tellingane frå 1860 og vidare.
I 1900 bur nevøen Ingebrigt J. Øvstedal og kona hans, Ingeborg Sæterdal, som var deira grandniese, på farmen hjå dei i Nunda. Ingeborg si søster Brita var ikkje der, sjølv om ho emigrerte hit med Ingeborg i 1892. Brita si dotter Anne hadde slått seg ned i Lamoure township i Pembina County, North Dakota. Brita døydde der.

Nunda township ligg rett ved Emmons i Freeborn County, Minnesota, dette er rett over grensa frå både Lake Mills og Silver Lake i Iowa, som hadde norske kyrkjer. Det er 480 miles mellom bygdene, men familiane hadde likevel kontakt.

I 1908 meldte disse seg som arvinger etter Thomas:
Kari Hafindahl, age 85, sister, lives in Becker County, Minnesota.
Martha Severson (sister), age 88, lives in Nunda, and Ingebright I. Ofstedahl, legatee, age 41, lives in Nunda. The probate value of the estate was 200 dollars, the probable value of the real property og the estate is ten thousand dollars of improved farm land.
Thomas hadde testamentert farmen og alt han eigde til Ingebrigt i 1907. Iver I. Johnson og Martha Johnson var vitner i probate court på at testamentet var ekte. Ingebrigt I. Øvstedal arva alle eigedelane. Han var nevø til Thomas og Ingeborg, og bodde allereie på farmen saman med dei.
