    • Ei segn fortel om eit skipsforlis utanfor Sotra, der alle unnateke ei lita jente omkom. Jenta vart funnen på stranda innpakka i ei lita dundyne. Ingen visste noko om ætta hennar, og ho vart døypt Astrid. Astrid var mor til Grim. Ho døydde av kolera i 1749 og vart gravlagt på kolerakyrkjegården saman med eitt av borna sine.
