VIRGIL CASEY SULLIVAN-Virgil W. Casey, 70, Sullivan, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Mary Sherman Hospital. Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Banks and Brust Funeral Home with the Revs. David Cox and Donald Ransford officiating. The Elks will hold a memorial service at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Cremation will follow and military graveside rites by Hymera, Shelburn & Sullivan Legion Posts and VFW Post 2459 will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fairview Cemetery in Vincennes. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Banks and Brust Funeral Home until services commence. He was born June 16, 1927, in Bicknell, to Efford and Pearl Faught Casey. He was retired from the State Highway Department. He was a member of the VFW Post 2459 and Elks 911, Sullivan. Survivors include his wife, Earleene Dunkerly Casey, whom he married on June 14, 1938. He is survived by one son, Charles W. Casey, Sullivan, two daughters, Linda Hopkins, Fayetteville N.C., and Marilyn Nichols, Sullivan; three brothers, Edgar Casey, Libby, Mont.; Roscoe Casey, Indianapolis; Maynard Casey of Glendora, Calif., and two sisters, Delores Merrill, Attica, and Frieda Buck, Edwardsport. Also surviving are five grandchildren and one great grandchild. In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances for the Elks Scholarship Fund. (June 14,1998)
