  Enlisted in Company E, Indiana 153rd Infantry Regiment on 06 Feb 1865. Promoted to Full Corporal March 1, 1865. Mustered out on 04 Sep 1865 at Louisville, KY. The 1866 Tax assesment list has him as a stallion keeper in Harrison. Both 1900 and 1910 censuses has Warren with second wife Jane in Wells Co. Indiana. In 1910 they had been married 22 years. Records have him "buried" both at the Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana, and at the Fairview Cemetery next to both wives in Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton.
