  Approx 1862 Hans and brother Arent with families and parents left Lindås and bought farms Malme and Mælsæther in Vågøy, Fræna, Møre og Romsdal. Both brothers died 1 February 1867, and by the 1900-census there was no one by that last name left in the Fræna parish. Hans Hanson Selliken, son of Hans, was a ship captain (skipper) living in Haugesund when his mother Elisa Torvaldina died in 1917, she was living with him.
