  1900-census Førde, Avaldsnes (Tysvær). 1904 registered emigration. Unmarried seamstress headed for Iowa date of departure Apr 13th 1904. Anna came to the United States in 1906, settling in Williston, N.D. She was married to Magnus Magnusson in 1916 in Plentywood. They homesteaded 17 miles north of Wolf Point that same year. Her husband died in 1939. In 1945, she moved to the Seattle, Was. area to live. Survivors include a son, Melvin, of Great Falls;four daughters, Mrs. Fritz Eide of Williston, Mrs. Selma Svendsen of Alameda, Calif.,Mrs Don Buckley and Bernice Magnusson both of Seattle; a brother and two sisters, all in Norway;17 grandchildren,19 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Hadde datteren Agnes Petterson f. 1908 med Gilbert S. Petersen da hun møtte Magnus.
