  Johannes Petrus Maria te Nijenhuis was only six months old when Engelbertus died. Johannes emigrated in 1957 and lived in Fresno, California, where he was a self-employed baker. He married Thea Copini (1914-1969) and had a son Bert (Engelbertus Johannes Maria) (1941-2004), who married Joyce Ann Mitchell (1946-2020) and they have son. Other children were Andre and Clem Te Nyenhuis and daughters Mike "Meeka" Banto, Ineke "Nikki" Wood, Thea Rhiannon, Annemieke Schneider.
