Johnson, Served With Divorce Papers, Kills Self
Sheriff Lawrence Larson reported today that Hans Johnson, 50, had committed suicide at his farm home in the town of Dunkirk.
The sheriff said that divorce papers had been served on Johnson Tuesday.
The body was found by John Stensby when he come to get milk, the sheriff said.
Deputy Coroner Paul Lappley was investigating.
Johnson, shot in the temple, was found on the Nels Reinstad farm, five and one half miles southeast of Stoughton, where he had been living.
He was the father of five children.
