  Children: Cornelis and Trijntje had Dirck, Job and Bart(hout) Father may be Dirck Joriszoon (sons Willem, Job, Cornelis) and grandfarther Joris Dirckszoon abt 1500. In 1544 Joris Dirckszoon had a farm with 46 morgen (40 hectares) of land in use and was therefore a large "farmer" for that time and certainly not without means. In 1553 his estate was of a comparable size. Cornelis Dirck Joriszoon mentioned in 1592 and 1594 as a buyer of a piece of land, probably already middle-aged in those years. Survived his wife Trijntje Foppendochter by about eight years. She died shortly before 1615, Cornelis in any case before 1623. He had a brother Willem who was a shoemaker. Cornelis and Trijntje lived in a house of the church of Wassenaar, where their son Bart would later come to live.
