    • Andrea was the ninth of the eleven children of Alfonso and Antonina (Libasci) Titone. He left Naples, Italy with his family on the SS Trojan Prince and immigrated to the United States at Ellis Island on November 24, 1899. Once in America, he took the name "Andrew." Andrew lived on Troutman Street in Brooklyn, New York and initially found employment as a barber.

      In 1930 Andrea and Juliette are in Islip, with his children Alfred, Antoniette and Anthony by Geronima "Mamie" Giambalvo (1898-1928). Andrea also had sons Alfred and Robert with Grace Groves (1894-1982) during WWI. They took the last name Young.
      In 1937 Andrea, also known as Jimmy, was convicted for shooting and killing Genaro Martinelli, alias Jimmy Russo, and was sentenced to 8-16 years in Sing Sing prison in Ossining, NY. Census 1940, Sing Sing. He was granted clemency in 1941. In 1952 he married Eglantina Ripanti (1898-1989).
