William Craige

  General Notes:

William CRAIGE married Margaret 'Abigail' Stuart. He had five daughters. He died on January 13, 1784, in Orange, North Carolina, at the age of 74, and is not identical to William Craige the minister in Glasgow, Scotland who is mentioned in Chalmers' General Biographical Dictionary. His wife is Abigail in his will.
Daughters Joanna Mc Millan (mother Mary?), Abigail Pasmore, Bethosheba (Batsheba) Crayton (1735-1834), Ruth Simmons and Mary Stuart.

William married Margaret Abigail Stuart in 1730 in Scotland. (Margaret Abigail Stuart was born circa 1712 and died in 1785 in Orange Co., NC.)
