General Notes: Is believed to have come to America in the late 1600s from Munster, Ireland with his brothers . (Dexal Shannon's Book) He was married to Agnes or Eigness, they eventually settled the Chester Co., PA. in an area referred to as West Conestoga Twp., which later became Lancaster Co., as we know it today. See page 1 Dexal Shannon's Book. Scotch-Irish Presbyterians Will is on file in dated 4 Apr. 1737 is recorded in Book A Vol 1 page26at Lancaster County Court House. Thomas married Aignes Reid. (Aignes Reid was born about 1690 in Ireland and died after 1737 in Lancaster Co. Penn.) |
