Svein og Birgit kjøpte Larsgarden Strand i 1789. Svein kjøpte også Tunehagen i 1794. Borghild Eiriksdatter Strand stevna på odel og fekk stadfesting i høgsterett 1800. Svein og Birgit flytta til Tunehagen i Ål, gnr. 124/6 kring 1801.


Svein married Birgit Eivindsdtr. Holto. (Birgit Eivindsdtr. Holto was born on 16 Feb 1766 in Holto, Ål and died in 1844 in Tunehago, Ål.)
