Edmond Mitchell

  General Notes:

Edmund secured fourty acres of land in 1837 on "the South west quarter of the North West quarter of Section twenty two, in Township ten, North of Range eight East, in the District of lands subject to sale at Indinapolis Indiana. This shows in a record at the Land Office on Mar 15th, considering sale of public lands under president Martin van Buren.

Edmund must have died shortly after.

Edmond married Malinda Ferguson, daughter of Benjamin Ferguson and Nancy Green, on 6 Jan 1831 in Indiana, USA. (Malinda Ferguson was born on 27 Jan 1815 in Wayne, Indiana, USA, died on 16 May 1873 in Jasper County, Illinois and was buried in Brockville Cemetery, Yale, Jasper, IL.)
